These terms and conditions govern your use of the Amour Tattoo website and services. By booking an appointment or purchasing from our shop, you agree to these terms.

1. Bookings & Deposits

• A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all tattoo appointments

• Deposits are deducted from the final cost of your tattoo

• Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances, including cancellation or no-show

• Booking confirmations will be sent via email. Please check your spam folder

2. Rescheduling & Cancellations

• Appointments may be rescheduled up to 7 days before your scheduled date at no extra cost

• Rescheduling requests made less than 7 days before your appointment may result in loss of your deposit

• If you reschedule more than once you will be required to pay another deposit

• A new deposit may be required to rebook if you cancel within the 7-day window

• No-shows will result in loss of deposit and may require a new deposit to rebook

• We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to illness or unforeseen circumstances. In this case, your deposit will be transferred to a new date or refunded in full

3. Pricing

• All prices quoted are estimates only and may vary depending on the complexity, size, placement, and detail of the final design

• Final pricing will be confirmed before the tattooing begins

• Payment for the remaining balance is due on the day of your appointment

• We accept card payments and cash

4. Age Requirements

• You must be 18 years or older to get a tattoo. This is a legal requirement in the UK

• Valid photo ID (passport, driving licence, or PASS card) must be presented at your appointment

• We reserve the right to refuse service if valid ID cannot be provided

5. Health & Safety

• You must complete a consent and health questionnaire before your appointment

• Please disclose any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or medications

• We may refuse to tattoo if we believe it could pose a health risk

• You must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs during your appointment

• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, we will not be able to tattoo you

• All equipment is single-use and disposed of safely after each session

6. Design & Placement

• Custom designs are created exclusively for each client and remain the intellectual property of Amour Tattoo

• Designs should not be shared, copied, or taken to another artist

• We do not tattoo designs copied from other artists' work

• Face, neck, and hand tattoos require prior discussion and approval

• Final placement is agreed upon before tattooing begins. Adjustments after starting may not always be possible

• We specialise in blackwork and do not offer realism tattoos. Colour may be available on request

7. Studio Policy

• Clients must attend their appointment alone, no companions are permitted in the tattoo area. If you require a companion for special circumstances please request this before your appointment date

• Please arrive on time. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in a shortened session or rescheduling

• We maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for everyone

• We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who is disruptive, disrespectful, or under the influence

8. Aftercare

• Aftercare instructions will be provided after your tattoo session

• Proper aftercare is your responsibility, we are not liable for infections or poor healing caused by improper aftercare

• Touch-ups may be offered at the artist's discretion, typically within 3 months of the original session

9. Online Shop & Merchandise

• All shop purchases (gift vouchers, merchandise) are processed securely through Stripe

• Gift vouchers are non-refundable and valid for 12 months from the date of purchase

• Merchandise is non-refundable unless faulty or damaged on arrival

• Please allow up to 7 working days for merchandise delivery

• For faulty items, contact us within 14 days of receipt with photos of the issue

10. Liability

• Amour Tattoo is not liable for any allergic reactions, infections, or complications arising from tattoos where proper aftercare has not been followed

• We carry appropriate insurance for all tattooing services

• Results may vary depending on skin type, placement, and aftercare

11. Intellectual Property

• All content on this website including images, designs, text, and branding is the property of Amour Tattoo

• You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without written permission

• Tattoo photographs may be used on our website and social media for portfolio purposes unless you request otherwise

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
